On the 2nd of December 2015 Servnet and EMC hosted a Hybrid Cloud event at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel in London. The event provided a forum for guests to share their views and experiences of the Cloud whilst gaining an insight into current trends driving the adoption of Cloud technologies from Servnet, EMC and Arrow ECS, all experts in the field.
Presentations from EMC’s Tony Crawford who covered ‘Technology in The Changing World’, gave guests a deeper understanding of events that are fuelling the drive for businesses to remain agile adapt to an ever changing commercial landscape.
Neve……. discussed ‘Data Security in The Cloud’ an area of concern for businesses looking for an effective way to protect key applications and safeguard their data. Neve highlighted a growing number of solutions dedicated to cloud based data protection and recovery. Allowing you to safely manage and store everything from core infrastructure to endpoint devices.
Servnet’s Sales Manager Dele Adu presented on ‘The Hybrid Cloud in Practice’. He offered a unique perspective based on Servnet’s customer interaction with business that have already completed the journey to cloud, and those about to embark on it. He discussed the day to day challenges these business faced that made consideration of cloud a pertinent topic, and how Servnet’s approach helped in defining a clear path to the correct solution.
The event ended with an exquisite private dining experience at the three Michelin stars, Alain Ducasse restaurant. Guest were treated to contemporary French cuisine in the elegant environment complimented by the professional and bespoke service by the event organisers.
