The SDH's online double-conversion topology provides complete electrical isolation of connected equipment from the mains supply — all power passes through the rectifier, battery bank, and inverter stages continuously, eliminating all mains-borne power quality issues. Input power factor correction (>0.98) reduces the apparent power drawn from the building circuit.
Hot-swap front-accessible batteries are a practical differentiator — many competing units require UPS shutdown and significant disassembly for battery replacement. The SDH's tool-free battery replacement keeps the UPS operational and connected equipment protected throughout battery maintenance.
