Gen10 (2017) runs 1st/2nd-Gen Xeon Scalable or EPYC 7001 with DDR4-2666/2933, PCIe 3.0 and FlexibleLOM networking. Gen10 Plus (2020/21) steps up to 3rd-Gen “Ice Lake” Xeon or EPYC 7002/7003 with DDR4-3200, PCIe 4.0, OCP 3.0 networking and NS204i NVMe boot — more cores, more bandwidth and faster NVMe. Both ship with iLO 5.
